Letona was once home to a very advanced society that relied on the protection of the device known as the Sentinel. Since its construction some 300 years ago, the people have technologically regressed to become a peaceful egalitarian society. Rogue NID operatives rendered the planet defenseless after they killed the Sentinel's caretaker, leaving the planet open to attack from the Goa'uld Svarog. With SG-1 and the operatives help the Sentinel was restored and the Goa'uld defeated.
M4C-862
Related Episode  Prodigy
M4C-862 is a moon orbiting a large gas giant roughly 42 000 light years from Earth. The moon was set up as a research base for off-world SGC study and was being proposed as a permanent off-world research station. Energy lifeforms appear to be the only inhabitants of the moon and were encountered by most of the personnel. The lifeforms soon began to attack the teams on the planet either because of the capture of one of their own or the moons polar orbit.
MADRONA (PX7-941)
Related Episode  Touchstone
Madrona was most likely terraformed 900 years ago using the device known as the Touchstone. The Touchstone was stolen by a rogue NID group, revealing that the planet's normal conditions are harsh and cold with violent ice storms and lightning. The device seems to modulate the temperature and cloud cover, providing a warm temperate climate. The Touchstone was later recovered by SG-1 and returned to Madrona, calming the conditions on the planet.
MARTIN'S HOMEWORLD
Related Episode  Point Of No Return
This was the planet Jack, Teal'c and Martin travelled to after learning the truth behind Martin's knowledge of the Stargate. He and a group of military men were searching for potential allies against the Goa'uld when they abandoned their ship and landed on Earth. They knew the war against the Goa'uld was going to be lost so they hid on Earth aware that they would be branded deserters. When they arrived they discovered that the Goa'uld had won the war and destroyed the planet, leaving no survivors.
NASYA
Related Episode  In The Line Of Duty
Nasya was home to a race of people known as the Nasyans. The Stargate resides close to a large body of water and beachside on the planet. There are numerous hills covered in vegetation nearby. When SG-1 discovered Nasya, it was being attacked by the Goa'uld because the Tok'ra Jolinar of Malkshur was hiding on the planet. It is unknown as to which Goa'uld was attacking the planet but Sam has speculated that it may have been Cronus. The Nasyans have since been relocated to another planet.
NETU
Related Episodes  Jolinar's Memories | The Devil You Know
Netu was the moon that orbits Apophis' base Delmak. It was once an industrial colony of Delmak but when Delmak was conquered by Sokar, he drilled into the centre of the moon, exposed the molten core and poisoned the atmosphere. After he was returned to, revived and tortured by Sokar, Apophis was sent to Netu to live among the damned. In order to eliminate Sokar, the Tok'ra deployed a weapon that would penetrate the surface of the moon and cause the moon to become unstable. The moon went critical and exploded, destroying Sokar's mothership with him aboard.
OANNES (P3X-866)
Related Episode  Fire And Water
Oannes appears to be a satellite of a gas giant. The local Stargate on this planet is in close in proximity to a salt-water lake, which is surrounded by some type of volcanic activity or ventilation structure. The lake houses an underwater facility, home to the sole inhabitant of the planet - a creature known as Nem. Nem captured Daniel in the hopes that he would tell Nem the fate of his mate Omoroca, who went to Earth to fight the Goa'uld.
ORBAN
Related Episode  Learning Curve
Orban is home to an advanced transplanted culture which made use of nanite technology to pass on knowledge. Daniel's research reveals that the Orbanians are the descendants of the Teotihuacan, a pre-Aztec civilization from South America that vanished around 750 A.D. The local architecture shows a strong Teotihuacan influence, as evidenced by the "Pyramid of Suns". Murals found under their local Stargate's Dial Home Device indicates that until several hundred years ago, there had been a Goa'uld presence on Orban.
OTHALLA
Related Episode  The Fifth Race
Othalla is an Asgard planet in the galaxy of Ida, requiring extra power and eight chevrons to engage on the Stargate to travel there from Earth. Jack travelled to this planet after the Ancients' knowledge was downloaded into his brain - his subconscious led him there to have the knowledge removed. Once there, a member of the Asgard used a hand device to remove the knowledge.
