Vampire Clans
(The list is not complete, more will be added as time permits)

Millennium ago, the vampires banded together to help insure their survival.  While some would leave these cliques or clans when they felt superior to their clansmen, most preferred to remain with their adoptive family.  As time passed, these groups amassed vast fortunes and political influence throughout the lands they dwelt on.  They became the true powers running most of the middle east in the dark ages, where fearful superstition kept many from standing up to the night dwellers.  As man crawled out of that turbulent time to rise into the renaissance, vampires found themselves needing to flee into the underground, no longer able to rule openly.  They did not give their power up easily, controlling the world about them remotely.  But over the centuries, their control weined and man slowly gained control over his own destiny.  Many of the Garou tribes used the weakening of the vampires political power as a reason to strike out at their most detested of enemies.  The ensuing war lasted from the early seventeen hundreds till the end of the nineteenth century.  By nineteen twenty, too few of either species was left to wage outright war.  The garou retreated to the wilds as the vampires found sanctuary in the growing wilderness of man's cities.  Through all of this, the clans have remained.
NOTE: Vampires created using one of the clan templates only needs to choose one additional vulnerability instead of two.
 

The Dracul
The Dracul are the oldest of the clans.  The infamous Vlad the Impaler came from this clan.  They are masters of the political world.  They have attained a level of mastery in subterfuge that no other group has ever attained.  It is said that a Dracul was the true force behind Hitler's brilliance.  They are possibly the most powerful of the vampire clans, holding most of the political power possessed by clans.  They have, however, developed a severe reaction to the Christian Cross and Hebrew Star of David, a result of their years of trying to eradicate both faiths.
Game Stats:
Abilities: +4 MA, Feed Less, Shadow Slide
Penalties: Holy Symbol: Cross and Star of David, Magic Weapons

The Nosferatu
NOTE: This is based off the movie "Nosferatu" and not White Wolf's clan of the same name (though that is where they got the idea)
Nosferatu have dwelt in the underworld the longest of all the clans.  They have found their homes in the sewers of the largest cities and fed off the homeless.  As a result, they have fallen, degenerated you might say.  Their features are extraordinarily animalistic with elongated ears, hairless bodies, large fangs and claw like nails.  They suffer from an uncontrolable urge to feed, giving into their animalistic urges.  Their very animalistic nature has givin them the ability to control a wider range of animals than most.  They are the most prevalent species of vampires left, having adapted well to the invasion of man's habitation of the world.
Game Stats:
Abilities: Climb Walls, Control Animals, and Blood Bath
Penalties: -6 MA, -10 PB, Uncontrolled Bloodlust

The Enoch
The Enoch were formed by vampires who possessed magical talent.  They banded together to help one another explore the metaphysical.  Most were followers of the Egyptian and Ancient Hebrew magickal arts.  They based their clan title off the ancient Enochian magick.  They have remained reclusive and even though they were among the smallest of the clans, they suffered very few losses in the Vampire-Garou war, as a result, they have the oldest of all the vampires in their ranks.  The clan leader is said to be able to remember the birth of Christianity.  Their magic experimentations has left them vulnerable to many elements but has ingrained strong magical ability in them all.
Game Stats:
Abilities: Magic!!
Penalties: Elemental Death: Silver, Vulnerable to two additional elements (cannot choose silver!!)

The Phainne
The Phainne are all psychic vampires.  They formed their clan back in the time when druids roamed the British Isles freely, before the Romans stepped foot on the islands.  They are a very peacefull clan, having spent the vampire-garou war in isolation.  They are the most common of all the clans to offer aid to the Nightbane in their war against the Nightlords.  Second only to the Enoch in the number of elders over a thousand years old, it is said that one can remember the first Roman ship landing on the isles.  They are unfortunately cursed.  The Enoch warred with the Phainne shortly after the Christian fait was born, in that war, the most powerful of the Enoch elders sacrificed themselves in placing a curse that made the sun and fire most dangerous foes.  Ever since that curse was placed, all Phainne have suffered from the most violent of all vampire vulnerabilities.
Abilities: Psionics: Full blown psionic OCC
Penalties: Fire

The Cenestri (NPC VILLIANS ONLY!!!)
This is the newest of all the clans, having formed on the heals of the turn of the second millinnia since the birth of Christ.  They are allies to the Nightlords, having been promised places of power once the Nightlords had control of our world.  The comming of Dark Day is said to been partly their responsibility.  All other clans have waged war on this clan, even the pacifistic Painne have moved on them.  The Nightlords have indeed been assisting them, granting or teaching them how to manipulate the Dark.  They have also become more ressistant to that which would affect most vampires: sunlight...
Abilities: Darksong, Darkwave, Darkwhip, Shadow Slide, Resistance to Sunlight, can atain Nightbane abilities w/out the level restriction (still costs double)
Penalties: Cross, Star of David, Holy Water, Silver
