ISRAFEL This self-replicating angel bears the name of "the burning one". Israfel has the duty of blowing the trumpet on Judgement Day, and as such is a angel of resurrection and song, quite appropiate, given its duplication abilities and musical synchronization. Israfel is the first Angel to be engaged by two Evas simultaneously and, due to the damage incurred to Tokyo-3's intercept system, is also the first to be intercepted by NERV as opposed to the UN and/or JSDF. Despite being attacked by both Units 01 and 02, Israfel manages to dispatch of both its opponents due to the Angel's unique ability to separate into two separate Angels. Besides this bizarre ability to separate its self, Israfel also possesses some kind of offensive laser weapon, though its destructive power is somewhat lacking compared to the destructive arsenals at the disposal of most of the other Angels. Israfel's AT field is also extremely poor, however, the Angel is fairly agile and also possesses a set of razor sharp claws, and is hence therefore well suited to close quarter assault. NOTES ABOUT ISRAFEL'S OPERATION A.T. (ABSOLUTE TERROR) FIELD: The main defensive function on nearly every Angel. Israfel has a light strength A.T. field, able to to deflect any attack equal to or under 300 M.D.C. in one attack. However it is known, that one A.T. Field can be neutralized, by creating another within a 10m distance, which overlaps and obliterates the phase space, rendering both fields inoperable. If Israfel divides into two seperate Angels the strength of both their AT fields goes down to 200 M.D. each. BIO-REGENERATION: Israfel can regenerate 1d4x10 M.D. to all locations every hour ENTERING COMBAT: Israfel is like Sachiel in how he deals with threats, however when faced with multiple threats he tends to divide so he can deal with them more effectively. Another favored tactic when facing a singular threat, is to divide and constantly fight using synchronized attacks, making it nearly impossible for the target to dodge both attacks. When using this synchronized format of attack, Israfel only makes one init roll and one strike roll for both of his parts. When he is attacking the target will get no penelties, however the second attack usually comes where the target cannot defend, giving the target -6 to parry or dodge! It is this tactic that has made Israfel a force to be reckoned with. ISRAFEL'S HAND TO HAND COMBAT BONUSES:
